Our program is a Yoga Alliance 300 Hour Registered Yoga School

In this module of advanced teacher training the emphasis is on awakening a deeper connection to spirit, by gaining access to a spiritual practice of your own accord. Meditation is one of the primary focuses of The Spirit of Yoga Module. You will dive into four layers of this practice and deepen your connection to how spirit is moving through your body.

Influenced by his Native American culture, Sid McNairy has brought the foundations of the First Nations people into his teacher trainings. These traditions and his time with Grandmother Morningstar have been an integral part of who Sid is today. It is his desire to share these experiences with yoga teachers and enhance their connection to spirit. Part of this week includes Inner Quest which is an opportunity for you to commune with nature. You will head onto Grandmother Morningstar’s land and experience Native American culture and the oneness of all.

Additional curriculum includes advanced sequencing, self discovery, posture clinics, and Sid McNairy’s Breathwork.

Shift your being as you connect to the Spirit of Yoga!

*Prior to booking your housing accommodations, be sure to apply. Once your application is accepted, you will receive further details regarding the schedule. Part of the week includes time away from the studio at Grandmother Morningstar’s land.

You have moved through the layers of discovering where you have been operating. Now is the moment to discover what is creating it all. This is the step you have been waiting for to allow your life to move forward – empowered and free to be you in every way!

Our Life Training series is designed to bring your awareness to your personal operating system: the beliefs, rules, and perspectives that guide your actions and emotions.  Once you are aware of the parameters you’ve confined yourself to, you can begin to move outside of them to create your best life! This is truly a training for all people – you do not even have to do yoga! Yoga is not a component in this series, so please get your practice in before or after. This is a study group that will help you dive deep into yourself to uncover hidden layers holding you back from living the life you wish to lead.

Life Training is lead by Sid McNairy. Sid is the owner, founder and operator of Sid Yoga Center in Towson, Maryland and the author of Walking with Love and Empowerment and Beyond. Sid has helped thousands before you see this perspective, and he can help you, too. Live the life you deserve to live! Register now.

Influenced by his Native American heritage, Sid has brought the foundations of the First Nations people into his trainings. These traditions, and his time with Grandmother Morningstar, have been an integral part of who Sid is today. It is his desire to share these experiences with others and enhance their connection to spirit. This weekend includes Inner Quest, a Native American tradition, at Grandmother Morningstar’s land. The clearing you create in this training will allow you to  experience the oneness of all things as you commune with nature.

Learn to lead, teach and inspire others.

An empowering process for those wanting to teach yoga in your community and world. Are you a current yoga teacher looking to master your skills, or a yoga student seeking to delve deeper in your practice? Our weeklong trainings are a great opportunity to capture these goals. This program composes the first part of 200hour teacher training.

The goal of this week is “Establishing power for yourself and others.” You will be introduced to the foundations of assisting/adjusting, and be exposed to understanding the anatomy of yoga postures and movement of the body. You will learn the foundations of power yoga through Baron Baptiste’s “Journey into Power” sequence. Discussions on the Yoga Sutras and philosophy of the Sid Yoga “Empowerment and Beyond” sequence will teach students about the depth and versatility of practicing yoga. You will also learn how to translate these timeless teachings into your current classroom experience. You will be introduced to leading a class by receiving voice coaching, and learning sequencing basics. A unique aspect of this training is the amount of time spent in practicing your teaching skills through live teaching sessions to your peers. Receive feedback throughout the program and grow.
This weeklong session is an inward journey that brings the focus to the internal by recognizing where we hold back, and where we can break through.

Whether you are brand new to yoga or a seasoned yogi, this day with Sid will leave you lighter, more focused and empowered to make your dreams a REALITY!

What is Living the Dream?

Living The Dream is a yoga immersion to help everyone involved discover their dream and bring it into reality.  During the immersion, participants will be guided through a series of self-study exercises and discover their dreams through a goal setting exercise. Participants will finish the immersion with an empowering yoga class to help bring their desires into their bodies.  Living your dream comes from opening up to what is possible and having the tools to put it into action.  This immersion will provide the tools and help everyone take the steps to putting it into action. At the end of the day, one participant will walk away with a free teacher training!

How Living the Dream came to be:

Sid began Living The Dream as a Collegiate Football Coach.  To further the dream he needed to find a way to heal his body from a fused ankle and release the asthma he had lived with since childhood.  Sid began to see that through yoga, healing in every way was possible, allowing him to open up to the possibility of his highest self.  He began to teach yoga to his football players. Over the next two decades of coaching football, teaching yoga, and inspiring others, Sid found his way. Doors began to fly open.  Through their ambassador goal bomb program, lululemon was made aware of Sid’s goal of traveling the world to spread peace.  In January of 2014, lululemon helped Sid begin this dream by sponsoring the first Living the Dream in Nashville, Tennessee. This has resulted in the program today. Sid is on a mission to help everyone Live The Dream they desire.

For Who?

Living the Dream is for YOU!  Whether you are a yogi or a novice, whether you’re currently living your dream or still opening up to what your dream is. No matter where you are on your path, now is the time to live your dream!

Join yogis, leaders and people from all walks of life gathering together in connection, support, peace, and growth.

Make your dream of teacher training come true!

Sid Yoga is inspired to make the dream of teacher training come to be for a Living the Dream participant. Participants will have the option to submit a short video expressing why they should be given this gift of FREE TEACHER TRAINING. Participants will create their video and submit it to contact@sidyoga.com. Sid Yoga will post the videos to our Facebook page and the community will vote. Whoever receives the most “Likes” wins!
